Is my Kia manufacturer’s warranty affected by the closure of Muirs Kia?
No. The seven year manufacturer’s warranty on your Kia is offered by Kia Motors Australia. The closure of Muirs Kia does not affect the manufacturer's warranty on vehicles purchased from Muirs Kia.
Is my Muirs extended warranty affected by the closure of Muirs Kia?
Some extended warranty products will be honoured by Phil Gilbert Motor Group under an agreement with Muirs Kia. An assessment will be made on a case by case basis, with regard to a specific Kia’s Service history and the warranty product purchased. Please contact us with your warranty paperwork and we will provide you with an answer for your Kia.
I purchased a used vehicle from Muirs Kia, in the period 1 January 2018 – 28 March 2018, what can I do if a warrantable issues arises during the statutory warranty period?
For used vehicles purchased from Muirs Kia during the period 1 January 2018 – 28 March 2018, Phil Gilbert Motor Group will attend to any issues that arise and are covered by the statutory warranty. Please contact our Guest Experience Centre and we will arrange an appointment for you so that an assessment of the nature of the identified issue can be made.
I’m a Muirs Holden customer. Can you help me too?
If your Holden is still under new car warranty, it is advisable you visit a Holden Dealership who would be able to honour any issues. Please contact Holden Customer Care on 1800 033 349. Outside of your Holden’s manufacturer’s warranty period, Phil Gilbert Motor Group would be happy to help as we do service all makes and models.
