A New 2020 Design for The Sorento, The Most Popular Kia Car | Phil Gilbert Kia

Introducing the 2020 Kia Sorento

Ready to upgrade to a new vehicle? Kia has unveiled the new, fourth-generation 2020 Sorento, which is arriving in Sydney this winter. Australia’s #1 SUV embraces an innovative design much more current than the old model, with a swept-back and elongated proportions. Available in seven paint finishes, the options are endless. Offering more space and a seven-seat interior, this midsized SUV is classified as an ultra-modern vehicle. With a refreshed front bumper, the striking exterior design of the 2020 Kia Sorrento is just the beginning.

More comfort and space

Comfortable seating for seven includes one-touch slide and fold second row seating. With plenty of room for passengers, pets and cargo, this roomy SUV features a panoramic sunroof, perfect for scenic drives. A 14-way power adjustable seat also allows the driver to hone-in on comfort during long car rides.

Safety comes first with Kia

As a family operated business, Phil Gilbert Kia understands how important safety is when purchasing a vehicle your children will be passengers in. Technology-wise this model promises to be the most advanced yet.

Featuring dual advanced front and side airbags, if an accident were to occur, the 2020 Sorento is equipped with cutting-edge safety technology to protect you and your passengers. It also features traction control and electronic stability, so you can be confident your Kia will stay firmly planted on the roads, even during inclement weather conditions.

Electronic brake sensors work hard to monitor the roads changing conditions, ensuring appropriate brake force during any type of situation. These features can make a real difference, especially when driving on curvy or bumpy roads. Included in all models is a rear-view camera and a selection of other available safety features can also be added to your vehicle.
H2 How is it different from the 2019 Kia Sorento?

The 2020 Sorrento is powered by a V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. The additional gears account for a smoother drive than the 2019 model.

The 2020 model is 10mm wider, taller and longer than its third-generation predecessor. The extra length comes from the car’s wheelbase, which is much larger than the 2019 model.

Both the 2019 and 2020 Sorrento models earned outstanding safety ratings, acknowledging Kia’s “superior” ratings were earned for front crash prevention, particularly in Kia’s 2020 model. The 2019 and 2020 models are both equipped with a rear-view camera with additional safety inclusions are available such as lane departure warning, lane assists, front and rear parking sensors and other state-of-the-art features.
